they served in many aspects!
I really think that this series was good, I enjoyed watching most part of it :) the only thing I can remember right now that I didn't like at all was the banalization of sexual assault in the script. The jokes Ming did about Wayo possibly getting abused are not funny, and the writers should be aware of it because it is really insensitive, especially towards abuse victims. Despite this negative point, I loved the show! the couples have healthy storylines, and a pretty natural development. I should highlight here Pavel Phoom's acting skills, it was his first role (as well as the other 5 main actors'), but he did an AMAZING job. His acting was so natural that I couldn't even tell that was just a character. He portrayed passion, confidence, anger, sadness and insecurity really well. In my opinion, he was the best actor, and I hope I get to see him getting more roles eventually, since 2moons3 apparently won't happen anymore :((reposted from 2020 bc my old account got suspended)

This is good but the ending.... keep reading . ty
Ok first and foremost I would like to say that 2 moons 2 has different vibe than the 2 moons (first season) I especially love ForthBeam here and Benjamin(Phana) is my ideal man for Wayo's character he is a gentleman and understand Wayo the most even though Wayo tends to get jealous easily hehe. I love Phana's acting here they may have cut some scenes from the original series but I don't really mind because they have included all the important scenes and combined those together I feel full when they got together in episode 4 ( sorry for the spoiler) . I also love how this season gave the other 2 couple enough screentime ForthBeam and MingKit as always there is no boring episode whenever Joong Archen (Ming) is there hahahaha I loved him from Star in my mind and I just got here and saw him again in a different light I prefer his character in SIMM though because I simp for Khabkluen aura. The only thing that I don't particularly like in the whole series is the cliffhang in the end even though they have added a sequel (2 moons 3) but to think that I fell inlove to Phana's character here in 2moons2 so bad it kinda left me just a little bit disappointed.. but still I recommend you guys to watch 2 moons, 2 moons2 and 2 moons 3. Do not mind the low rating, we all have diff taste when it comes to the storyline of Bl school lovestory. I've seen a lot of series that garnered high ratings but when I watch it left me nothing but disappointment and not really interesting in some parts. SU SU NA KHA (FIGHTING ) :)))Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Wayyy Better Than People Say It Is
Honestly, I didn't watch this at first, because of people's comments about it. People said it sucked and do not waste your time watching it. I thoroughly enjoyed the first 2moons, but since I didn't have anything to watch at the time, I decided to give it a go. This is hands down amazing! I loved how they did go over the original scenes in the first one but didn't actually be a remake of the first one. Originality is key peeps.I totally liked this 2moons better than the first one, sorrry...

Definitely a Fangirl here
So I am not big on giving spoilers so I won't say much on the matter but I really hope that 2 Moons 3 comes soon because for having just gotten into BL titles the last few weeks I watched this after the other one and at first was a bit disappointed because of the redo of the same but the pacing in this actually worked for what it was. I loved the chance to see more of the other pairings, to actually get to know the individual characters more.At first because of the change of actors I was a bit iffy, not realizing that it was a reimagining rather than a continuation (my own fault as I didn't read it properly and just assumed that it being called 2 Moons 2 meant it was a season 2), however I had so many grow on me that I couldn't even say which actor for which role I preferred.
There were many cute moments that had me wanting to squee with joy and do the entire yaoi-fangirl thing though not anywhere near as loud as those in the shows haha.
It honestly has made me begin to think that rather than working on novels I might have to give a shot at writing some screenplays because this show reawakened my muse of late for writing yaoi.
I really hope that we get resolution soon with 2 Moons 3 because leaving it off on a cliffhanger as it did is not rewarding for watching it all. I want to have the satisfaction of seeing a certain character get punished for what was pulled and I really would love to see one of the fangirls take care of someone else after what she pulled. I think at this point I am a Kit fangirl and Forth/Beam fangirl most, but I loved all the characters and the story even with the common tropes.

Meh ?
That’s all I can say about 2moons 2... MEH! ?Won’t even waste time and energy trying to explain why watching it was a waste of time, but I honestly don’t understand why it has a 8.5 rating. I understand that they couldn’t use the season 1 casts because of some issues but how could they go so far away from the original? And the acting?! Don’t even let me get started with their fake crying and all? anyway, the actors really tried their best I guess, but they’re not just suited for the roles... or maybe I feel that way because I’m comparing with season 1

Started off rocky, but got better
I struggled to get through the first 6 episodes. It took me a long time to adjust to the new cast, and while I eventually was in full support of the new Ming, Kit, Beam, and Forth, I never fully adjusted to the new Wayo and Pha. They had some sweet moments, but honestly MingKit and ForthBeam stole the show. The rewatch value drops quite a bit because if I want Wayo and Pha, I'll just rewatch season 1, but if I want the other relationships, I''ll watch this, but skip everything that doesn't have to do with them.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
She understood the assignment
This was a much needed improvement.I've been in this BL journey for a couple years now, so I can confidently say this is one of their best works in terms of writing. I watched this and the original season back to back and the superiority of this new version was so evident it completely overshadowed the original for me. The season was so well balanced it is almost satisfying to watch.
~Story:
Still simple, yet so much better told. Despite the fact the beginning was a little too rushed, it ultimately ended up playing out nicely. I am guessing the writers assumed the viewers should've seen the original season already, so they went ahead and summarize all that as quickly as possible to give space for everything that comes after. Well played. The original season made me feel empty, like there was a lot of story missing --there really wasn't a feeling of completion. On the other hand, this new version made so much sense, not even a single bit felt left out.
I am a little disappointed about the antagonists, though. There is little to no screen time for them. We know some stuff about one, but the other is completely out of the story for whatever reason, which doesn't really make sense since it is important to understand their reasoning why they did the things they did.
~Cast:
I'm kind of 50/50 about them, I was expecting more from some of them, but was left with some half-assed acting. Before I talk about them, though, can I just say the actors of each pairing remind me so much of previous couples from other BLs? Wayo and Pha look like Pete and Ae from "Love by Chance," Forth and Beam look like No and Phun from "Love Sick," and Ming and Kit look like Nam and Meuk from "Water Boyy: The Movie."
~Wayo/Pha: Even though the acting was a little better from both actors, this couple didn't give the same impact as the original. Bas and God's chemistry was so good and natural (specially thanks to God's acting), that the new guys didn't stand a chance. They both felt more like friends than a couple.
~Ming/Kit: Superior, SUPERIOR! I really enjoyed these actors a lot more than the originals. A very natural performance that held meaning due to Kit accepting that someone could love him for who he is. The writers kind of cut them out at the end but it was due to balance, so I wasn't bothered.
~Forth/Beam: BEST COUPLE, I SAY!!!! They really took me by surprise because I didn't know they were going to have this kind of relationship. Honestly, I don't think the originals even spoke to each other in their season, so the title card that showed them together didn't make any sense to the me... and probably the rest of the viewers. These new guys went ALL OUT and it played out the BEST out of all the couples. Strong chemistry, natural acting, and confident homoerotic scenes. These two stole the whole show for me thank u ♡
~Pacing, editing, and direction:
Check all these with a passing grade, please. This is the kind of quality content I want to support. Even simple dramas can look really good if there's a good vision and understanding of the story. Despite the super fast beginning, the gradually slower pacing afterwards really helped setting the mood and allowed the viewers to get to know the characters better -- everything just makes much more sense now.
Sis, this show has everything: Childhood love, love that blooms in adversity, love you gotta prove yourself for, shitty rumors, actors who don't know how to act drunk, somehow you gotta ask Pha for permission to everything, gay sisterhood and so much more. I totally recommend this version because this is superior to the original season, but you should still give the og a try because God. God is everything.

I was surprised when the series announced a whole new cast for the reboot however, I personally wasn't as upset about the recasting as I know many other viewers were. In all actuality, I found the new actors contributed a great deal of freshness to the characters that I already loved. That being said, I was delighted to see more of Forth and Beam in this second installation since there wasn't a great deal of this ship in the first.
I would have liked it if the soundtrack for the series had been more broad as it felt slightly lacking despite the number of episodes we were given. For me personally, music plays a vital role in conveying the emotional climate of different scenes and it simply felt like there wasn't enough of that to help the audience along.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed 2 Moons 2 and have watched it more than once since it's release back in 2019. If you're considering giving the series a go then I highly encourage you to give it a try!

"2 Moons2 Could have been..."
I have to admit I was hesitant at first to watch a remake of 2 Moons. Season 1 had a great selection of newest actors in Showbiz industry. With hopes that it could meet viewers' expectation, the 2 Moons 2 did not. I guess many of us would agree with other reviews. Mine is as same as theirs. It is a bit disappointment and I will lay down some points on the matter. First, the chosen actors are unfamiliar to us; hence, they have no solid background in acting. I have no intention to tarnish their image, but some casts are not well trained. The series could have been better if the casts had gone through several acting workshops. If they did, then how come they could not internalize the lines well? Second, the Official Soundtrack, unfortunately, is not captivating. I believe throughout 12 episodes, only two song are featured. It is not a deal breaker, though but I suggest the sequel must have at least more than two songs played in different episodes. Third, Cinematography wise is a major dismay. Thai BL series do leave us memorable scenes with remarkable and carefully planned cinematography, which boosts more viewers if such actors are amateur in the field.Had both director and writer considered the three points I brought up above, this series would have turned into a masterpiece---sadly, never did it happen.

2.5 STARS FOR MINGKIT ONLY!!!
A slow start but it quickly picks up in Episode 3. It's a simple, standard story. Nothing special. No real ups and downs. Pretty standstill and flat-line in terms of conflict, tension and emotions. Some cute moments here and there, but nothing that tugs at your heartstrings or that makes you feel invested. The piano score is beautiful and touching though and it fits perfectly with the story, unlike other BL's where the music feels out-of-place.Yo and Pha's relationships was a bit too quick in my opinion. They both have secretly liked each other since high school and quickly get together in university. There's a public declaration of love and "I love you" already by Episode 4. There's nothing to build towards. No one who can get in their way since their love for one another has been aflamed for so long. And their scenes gets dull as Pha acts all lovey-dovey whereas Yo acts all shy. And when Yo tried to make Pha jealous just because Pha was talking enthusiastically to Pring. Ugh. So cringey, manipulative and nonsensical. To be honest, YoPha was my least favourtie couple in the series. I LOVED MingKit, liked ForthBeam, but could care less about YoPha.
MingKit made this series worth watching! The chemistry between Joong and Nine was far more intense than Ben and Earth (YoPha, the main couple). Episode 9 that focuses on MingKit is without a doubt the best episode of the series! The conversation between Ming and Kit on the bed made my heart swell and burst! My heart was so full! That moment was beautiful and made me wish that I had someone who could love and accept me with all my flaws. I was captivated and felt myself being drawn closer to the screen while watching that beautiful scene unfold.
ForthBeam was pretty good themselves. However, I felt that their relationship was too quick. The feelings for one another were too quick, especially from a one night stand. And Forth did actually acknowledge how quick and sudden his feelings for Beam were. And then, they quickly became like close friends and then, Beam suddenly acts all cold to Forth and then, they reconcile.
The ending didn't really make much sense though. Park decided to create a hickey (assault) Yo and post photos of the evidence around the school because Yo 'humiliated' him by leaving him in the theatre. Like what? Park knew that Yo only asked him to go watch a film to spite Pha. Park knew that Yo was using him to make Pha jealous. By accepting Yo's invitation, Park was already humiliating himself. But no, it was Yo leaving Park at the movies that make him angry enough to assault and post photos of that assault. No sense at all. However, by leaving the series on a cliffhanger with a "To Be Continued," it does ensure a sequel, so that's good! Hopefully, MingKit will get more screen time in the sequel!
On a side note, I was kinda annoying that the series equated acne and glasses to being ugly and that Yo looked more handsome and desirable because he was "fair-skinned" (no acne) and didn't wear glasses. However, Pha did like Yo even when he had acne and glasses, so that's good in a sense.
On another side note, there was a lot of rape jokes though, which turned me off. I noticed that Thai BL's have a lot of rape jokes. Hopefully, they will realize the harm in them and not make them anymore.

Bland and Forgettable, Same as the Original 2 Moons
There have already been 45 reviews by the time I’m writing this, but oh well, here’s the 46th!After watching the whole series, I still didn’t really get the hype behind this drama. The current rating is definitely higher than it should be. I admit, half of the cast is very good looking (Joong, Nine, & Pavel), but both the story and the acting fail my expectation.
If you’re in it for the BL and like to watch boys flirting and trying to get with each other, you’ll enjoy some of the moments in all three couples. Some of the dialogues are cute and you can see the chemistry between the actors.
However, if you actually want to watch a good drama, this is NOT it. The development of each relationship seems very forced, and it takes you out seeing how all of them are gay/bi. Like, that’s not realistic.
The actual filmmaking techniques are not good either, especially the camerawork & editing. It seems more like a school project than a professional piece.
The only redeeming quality about this series is the visuals of the cast :(
