Now that Kotoko left the Irie house, she is trying to forget her feelings for Naoki but can't help herself, especially when his problems put him in the forefront of her thoughts. The Irie family have not gone back to normal since the Aihara's left. Naoki is skipping school and not taking test as he is having trouble figuring out what his dream is for the future, which has his family concerned. Yuuki trying to help, plays a trick on both Kotoko and Naoki that has them have a date at the zoo. This allows Naoki to relax and open about his troubles to Kotoko about his uncertainty of his career path. This has Kotoko seeks out different individual's dream and compile a list different types of job that she goes and gives to Naoki. He seems grateful to her, which Kotoko becomes overzealous and hug Naoki that causes intimate tension to happen between them and Kotoko runs out immediately.
