Romance Sangrento (2018)

Both is about ancient times, and the main lead girls are strong and do not let others step on them.. Both have such a drammatic life and is superb! It is a MUST watch.

Both are tragic romances between two characters who trapped by circumstances and are forced to act against their better natures. While Bloody Romance has the kind FL trapped with the powerful ML who decides to help her, The Blue Whisper has the kind ML as the one who gets trapped at the start with the powerful FL helping him. The characters are forced into conflicts that they would rather avoid and work against those in power who are mostly villainous. There are betrayals and misunderstandings, but the leads end up growing as people. Both explore the complexities of morality.

The main couple's dynamic is very similar to the one in Bloody Romance. Throughout this series, Rong Zhi tries to maintain his distance to Liu Chuxiu and finds himself emotionally drawn to her and in direct conflict of political gain.

Very different in tone and length, but both FLs are assassins. FL and ML are devoted to each, despite some misunderstandings.

female characters are strong and badass. Both are about an organisation that sends people to uncover mysteries/ do jobs set in historical times. Eventual romance between certain teammates. Young blood is about a government spy orignisation however, wheras bloody romance is about assasination jobs. young blood has a team of main characters whereas bloodyromance has only the two.

Both are fantasy/historical/wuxia dramas with a more unique plot, aesthetic, and characters, and a similar feel. Both deal with complex court politics, birth secrets involving the rightful heir to the throne, assassins, and feature a love triangle. Both FLs are compassionate and become stronger over the drama despite suffering a lot. The MLs are tortured slaves/servant bodyguards whose only purpose is to shield and die for their female masters, and both end up belonging to the FL early in the dramas. Both love stories are angsty and heart-breaking, and the dramas have unique endings - Bloody Romance is bittersweet, open, but hopeful, Colourful Bone has two endings, one sad/bittersweet and the other happy.

Both series talk about a wonderful and courageous girl who has to deal with adversities at every turn. We also have an incredibly talented young man madly in love with her. Both series are very similar to each other, also feature films.

Both focus on assassins, with a bond/romance between two of them, and have open endings. However Assassin Academy is much shorter and lighter.

Both have similar pacing, vibes, and aesthetics. The ML quietly follows and protects FL who over the course of the story grows into a strong character.

They have super power.. But bloody romance is more misterious, dramatic, the guys are all handsome and a much better !! The girl who plays bloody romance have a strong mind and is smart. Have a try, I think you wont regret!!

Different length but similar tone. ML is bodyguard and subservient to FL and extremely devoted to her.

Both have strong female leads who are martial arts.

Both female do not agree with their status.

both are costume dramas with beautiful visuals and fantasy elements centering around a female assassin and a man who would do anything for her. the female leads are both incredibly strong women with tragic backgrounds whose desire to survive drive them forward. one difference would be that in alchemy of souls, the fl is the teacher and the ml the student, while in bloody romance it's the other way around. alchemy of souls is also more lighthearted than bloody romance, but both dramas do get dark at points.

Relationship between a bodyguard and the one he protects. Both are beautifully filmed, very moving, and emotional stories that have a unique and haunting tone.
