I f you liked the romance in Goblin then I think Cinderella and the four knights would be something you'd enjoy.

- age gap ( not as apparent in CATFK as in Goblin thank god)

- cute side couple you can root for

overall while watching Goblin I couldn't stop thinking about Cinderella and the four knights.

Both are older man with younger woman
Both romantic series.
Both actress are super cute.
Will they end up together?
Will they be awkward due to age gsp?

How is this and why is this not compared to "Goblin"?
This drama is basically the Goblin of 2022. Now, this isn't about popularity but because of the setting, it is given.
Even though both dramas have huge gaps in the plot, the essence is the same. A rom-com, fantasy thriller with heart-wrenching scenes to cry.
We got killer leads (literally), magic that fulfills, romance to die for, MLs who are imperfectly perfect, awesome FLs with brains, and endings with pain.
Just how did we forget?

Both dramas are about beings with super power. The main leads in both dramas are destined for fate and both of dramas have Interspecies Romance (a romance, sexual or otherwise, between two different species).

Fantasy romance about reincarnation and supernatural creatures. Both are very enjoyable and feature slightly prickly but loveable MLs and an endearing other main character as well.

Both have a similar plot element of Reapers who have no memory of their life before death and the consequences ensuing when said memories return.

Yamihara Kokoro and Asada Toramatsu live in a town that is quite peaceful, until a serial murder case happened where the bodies all had their blood drained out. Five years have passed but the case remains unsolved. Meanwhile, Kokoro and Toramatsu have been in a relationship for a year, but are unable to get married as they are keeping a serious secret from each other. Kokoro is actually a vampire. However, she does not attack humans and live modestly. Toramatsu is a popular resident in the town and is trusted by many. After getting a divorce, Toramatsu got drunk and went back to his old house, where he met Kokoro, the current occupant. As the two continue to keep their secrets hidden, a horrific murder occurs once again in the town.

If you like ideas of the supernatural, afterlife and rebirth Goblin will both entertain and amaze you!

ultimately the end result is the soul being released and having resolution .... it has the same conclusion .......

God-like being attempts to break his curse with the aid of a human woman but ends up falling in love with her and wanting to stay alive/on earth.
Beautiful soundtracks and visually attractive drama.
Romance and bromance.
Bittersweet ending.

Both shows have themes concerning death. There is also humor, romance, and most importantly, bromance.

An immortal waits for centuries for a maiden to break a curse that prevents him from moving on. Even the promo art is reflective of each other.
