Gogh, A Noite Estrelada (2016)

This drama was actually on my to watch list for the longest time. Actually this was recommended to me by a mdl friend and I decided to go ahead and watch it since I had at one point planned on watching it to begin with. I am so glad she gave me the recommendation, if she hadn't I probably would not have started this drama. It was short to-the-point super enjoyable, funny, cute and the main leads were awesome. I definitely recommend this drama if you're looking for something short cuz you will speed through this. This is definitely a good drama if you're waiting for something else to come out or if you really don't know what to watch I definitely recommend this. Super enjoyable I loved it the main guy so attractive lol great drama! And I mean it did have kind of like a love triangle but not really nothing really crazy happens in it but it's really really good to watch.

I have re-watched this show recently and wanted to write about how good it is lol. First off, the ost "star candy" is so catchy and I love that there are two versions of it. Just for that song the show gets 10/10 in the music category. I like the subplot with the FL's mom, because I felt that I could relate to it. The FL tries really hard to get her mom to notice her, but the mom calls her useless and favors the brother more. That was sad, but realistic. What is unrealistic is that all the guys at the office like her, but it's a show so whatever lol. It was a short but cute show, that is perfect to binge when you are feeling like you want to briefly escape from your work.

I thought the story lacked a bit and was missing something but I was completely wrong.What it was meant to be was a cute little romantic show full of comedic elements and it was just that. I shouldn't have been expecting anything other than romcom, and if you are then you will be disappointed.

The story was adorable but I do wish rather it it being just a romantic comedy, I wish it had some drama too. The characters have so much potential in being something more and I really wish they were just a little bit more so I could have a better connection with them but then again this show wasn't suppose to be melodrama but still part of me wanted that.

Overall though if your looking for a heart warming, cute story that makes your own heart skip a beat then this is definitely the show for you. I binge watched the whole series in one day but I highly doubt I'll find myself watching it again, not because it was bad, just simply because I didn't totally feel connected to the characters throughout the story. Regardless, I still recommend it as a romantic comedy because in that aspect it was gold. Kwon Yuri did amazing so did the rest of the actors. She's just so cute.

What makes this drama different than most including an office romance is the approach from the two primary male leads. Kang Tae Ho seemingly is harsh, unapproachable, yet fair... And Go Ho's ex-boyfriend seems nice, even handed, and obviously still carrying a torch for his ex. Go Ho is a woman who is working hard at her career, friendly, and full of life. This drama finds her at a juncture in her life. Will she return to her ex-boyfriend (now her boss) or will she take a chance on a new love. I believe one of the biggest reasons to watch this very lighthearted and easy to binge drama is the presence of Kim Young Kwang (Kang Tae Ho). His seriousness/broodishness begins to disappear when he finally declares his like, then love, for Go Ho. I believe their scenes really display their chemistry and his smoldering intensity.

I thought this drama would just be like a sweet breeze that I could get through while I’m in a drama slump, but I was clearly very wrong.

The female lead acts so infant-like, and to her boss of all people, it was a big turn off. I did continue watching even after her behavior, wondering if she would miraculously experience character growth and act like an adult, but there was only more pouting in the upcoming episodes. Then there was a forced kiss in the club. There was also the cold male lead who likes her but has to act like a jerk to her because that is what will make her like him back of course. I tried.
