I think it was a good show and I personally…

I think it was a good show and I personally liked the plot but one thing I hated was who she got with because the main girl and the second lead had more chemistry. In addition the first lead was a sociopath!

Worth it

Before beginning, if you're here wondering if you should watch this drama or not. Just watch it, go, NOW. Because even though it has it's ups and downs, it's definitely worth the ride.
The story as everybody said started out really strong. I was hooked from the first episode, the pace, the acting, the plot, everything was engaging. Demanding your full attention, but somehow along the show lost this "value" and started to get confusing. The only reason I stuck to it was because of the characters. The made it less confusing and more enjoyable.
The characters for me were what made this show really interesting. I didn't ship anyone with anyone ( talking about the leads and second lead) because personally, I thought that every single one of those characters deserved better. Hong Seol (kim go eun), this hardworking introverted girl deserved a simple life with a loving boyfriend with no complications. Yoo Jung ( Park hae jin), the manipulative broken child at heart deserved a girlfriend that would understand him without making him doubt himself, and in my humble opinion, he deserved someone as equally manipulating as him. I loved Yoo jung at first, I have a soft spot for characters with sociopathic tendencies, but once the truth about his past got unveiled even I had to admit it he has crossed a line.I get that it's who he is, as a character this was expected, I shouldn't have been surprised, but after it, I found out that I had lost all sympathy for him, this aw turned to merely acceptance. Still, I think Park Hae jin did a fabulous job portraying the character. AS for Baek in ho ( Seo kang joon) THIS GUY NEEDS a show of his own. No, I didn't ship him with Seol because he deserved sooo muuch better. His storyline was by far the most interesting and captivating, it made your heart stir with feelings and made you wonder why were you brokenhearted over for a fictional character. That is how good he was. I really want a spinoff for him cause he's in my top 10 favorite kdramas characters ever. Baek in ha was funny at times but mostly unbearable, I couldn't really find a way to pity her or anything cause she was a spoiled brat who spent money like there's no tomorrow, yes she has been used all along her childhood but that doesn't give her a ticket out of anything.I only sympathized with her at the end, but a part of me was screaming SHE Deserves it.
The end for me wasn't really all sunshine and rainbows but made sense. It was realistic, honest and I liked that about it. The ending was just a beginning for another story arc for our beloved characters, and hopefully a happy one.
The ost was okay, it didn't stand out much for me but added enjoyment to some scenes.
Rewatch value; Definitely. I'll take this ride again any day, anytime.
Closing thoughts; cheese in the trap isn't a perfect kdrama, but since things needed to be perfect in order to be enjoyable?

Five Stars

I absolutely loved the ending. I couldn't be more perfect. I don't understand why people think that the couple meeting and kissing in the end is a good ending. I mean, Yoo Jung and Hong Seol started dating pretty early in the drama and there were a lot of romantic scenes of them together. The accident was something necessary for everyone to wake up and realize what they have been doing to each other. And as Hong Seol said they would need time to heal and Yoo Jung's time might be longer than hers. The last scene shows that her email was read and I think that was a beautiful way to show that they'll be together in the future.

what a let down

Could not believe how this ended. Such a disappointment. I'll get back to this review one day, but this drama has one of the most toxic relationships I've ever seen.

Disappointed

So I only recently started K-Dramas and this was my 1st one I was there from start to finish and have to say this is by far the worst ending a romantic drama could ever possibly have, especially since all the hope and struggles that was there in the beginning that was overcome only to meet up the fact that they can't be together and the worst part about it is that in the end the director totally tried to smooth it over by showing that the email was opened...I don't know if that is the director's way of making the audience want a second season, but that was utterly horrible because Sul and Sunbae was so cute and perfect for the fact they completed each other in multiple ways and the also were quite similar..

To be honest while awaiting for the episodes to be released I was watching other dramas but couldn't shake off my anticipation for the next episode, but in the end of it all I feel used and violated since all my hopes were crushed.. the only way I believe they can dignify themselves is by creating a sequel which contains - going into the future where Yoo Jung is the C.E.O or Chief of the company and he buys over the company where Sul works while as we all know he plots as to how to get her back mean while Sul misses him but tries to move on by reluctantly going on a bunch of blind dates set up by Bo-Ra... when Yoo Jung suddenly reappears in her life but acts cold to her on work and mistreats her by giving her a bunch of work to do compare to all the other employees til she reaches her limit and decides to explode and when she does he pulls her in, hug her and kisses her and tell her how much he missed her over the years and that he did see her that day in the street etc........

But don't get me wrong I'm just the happy ending type where all the characters are happy especially when the leads end up together and live happily ever after.....
