O Nascimento de Uma Beleza (2014)

This was the first drama that made me fall into the big hole of dramas back in 2012.
I remember how much time I've spent by watching it at the time.
The story is still more for public adult, not for strange scenes but because isn't a teen drama.
This one has a really difficult story at the beginning, but slowly fades into something really more simple based on action, twist, families problems and much more! In 2012 this kind of story was new if compard to dramas like Boys Over Flowers and similar.
Really liked it and still have a favorite spot into my heart!!

From one abuser to another

My primary issue with this isn't the acting, though the male lead is either terribly written or terribly acted, but because of the biggest issue with this series. Unable to decide if it wants to be a revenge romance, a soap or a romantic comedy, it fails on all, and worst of all, because of the total acceptance of the way the male lead abuses the female lead. There is isolation, there is forced dependency, there is gaslighting at every larger emotional expression from the female lead. It's so clear that you can see the entire cycle of abuse, abandonment/hatred and love bombing. It's disgusting. She is already a woman abused. I kept hoping she'd eventually realise that he's terrible and leave, but nothing seems to imply that she will, from the set up to the character "development".
If you have experienced abuse, are ignorant of abuse depictions in media, or don't want to feed yourself toxic garbage, don't waste your time.

"Рождение красавицы" самая глупая дорама уходящего года, но смотрится на редкость прикольно. Тупизна сюжетных ходов искупается абсолютным раздолбайством актеров, которые похоже в полном ахуе от того, что им приходится говорить и играть, и поэтому просто развлекаются по полной. И поэтому смотреть на этот абсурд почти всегда весело.
