i never expected to say something like this but i found it boring
I was very excited about seeing pondphuwin back on a series but this is a bummer, the story is extremely bland, tasteless. it's not completely bad as we have some tender moments in the secondary couple, but aside of that I had to admit i had to drop it. I hope to see Pond and Phuwin getting better series just like they had with never let me go or fish upon the sky which were interesting, the story was well planned and the characters had an excelent chemestry. don't forget this is just my personal opinion and i'm not intending to discourage anybody from watching the series because at the end, the judge, it's you.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Storyline went well but the ending 50-50.... between good and sad, If your looking for happy ending forget this movie :), sad ending with emotional damage ( because of the acting), I wish at least they stay together for couple years or until they have children...but No, no happy ending event a little bitEsta resenha foi útil para você?

It raised a high standard for Bl series production
•KinnPorsche is by far one of the most legendary bl series till date. The mafia concept is a pretty high stakes one, given how rich mafias are portrayed in fiction and how action packed their lives are. But KinnPorsche defied all the odds and definitely rose up to the sky. And I can definitely say that it deserved every ounce of support that it got.•KinnPorsche's synopsis is fairly simple, and if underestimated, can feel as if you're watching a Wattpad story come to life. The romance between a mafia boss and his bodyguard. Thought that nothing unusual? Well, the series biggest advantage is how they developed this dynamic. Instead of showing us cheesy scenes and a fast moving relationship, we got to see a good amount of tension between them. The ups and downs, the secret attacks they had deal with. They conflicts within the Theerapanyakul kept me hooked and I was surprised to find the family divided as the major and minor. The various secrets they hid were also interesting and got me gripping on seat, desparate to uncover these hidden truths. And, being from the mafia family ultimately brands you with some red flags. Kinn and Vegas had their fair share of toxic traits and their rivalry was inevitable. There was comedic relief in form of Tankhun and the bodyguards at times. This allowed to us viewers to have some relief and not feel like we are just stuck in the suspense and action forever.
•Kinn and Porseche's relationship is not entirely perfect. To be honest, Kinn had more than a few moments were he was an inconsiderate jerk towards Porsche. Though it was to protect him, I still think he could've handled it a bit better, instead of making poor Porsche suffer. Porseche's dominance and assertiveness was really a charm and it was refreshing to see how he had his own rules and the way he slapped Kinn in that bathroom scene was just a surprise for me. MileApo's chemistry was top-notch and their equally dominating presence and personality made me even more invested in their relationship.
•Vegas and Pete was totally an example of a toxic relationship. Vegas was emotionally and physically abused by his father, and had all of his life tried to surpass Kinn. He vented all of his frustration by physically and sexually torturing Pete after catching him red handed. This torture totally shows how much a red flag Vegas is. And as much as Pete know it, he still can't let go of Vegas. Vegas was a monster, and the atrocious things he did to Pete are definitely irreversible. But this horrible episode is what got them to understand each other. Vegas became a person who was capable. Meanwhile, Pete somehow managed to love Vegas despite of the torture and even resigned as a bodyguard to be with him. This love is toxic, but also proves that love is blind.
•Kim and Porschay are surprisingly my favourite couple among them, despite the fact that they never became one. The fanboy x his idol troupe was interesting. I know that probably because of Barcode being a minor and Jeff being an adult they didn't do any sort of sexual or romantic scene. But the scenes they had was than enough for me to root for them. Their ending had me in splits. What Kim did to Porschay definitely got the latter hurt and depressed, but at the same time, I understood his reasons and where he is coming from. I also hoped for a season two so that they got the closure they deserved. While this may never happen, I have hopes for their future projects (Happy Ending and Wuju Bakery)
•In terms of side characters, I could go on for hours, so I will keep it brief. Tankhun is superior comedy material. Period. The bodyguards are amazing (Big deserved better). Time was totally jerk and Tay needs to leave him. Macau is lovely brother. Vegas's father deserves to rot in hell. Tawan's presence was unwelcomed (but I really love Na Naphat).
•This series has a really excellent Osts. Jeff Satur's "Why don't you stay" is emotionally compelling and I really like his vocal tone. The main Ost "Free fall" takes the cake for fitting the action concept very well (I could go on talking about it, but let's keep it short)
•Overall, I enjoyed KinnPorsche as it completely devoured and gave justice to the Mafia concept. Aside from the obvious red flag relationships in this story, everything was excellent and well executed. Props the actors and production team. This show is the STANDARD for the production quality of Bl series.

So close to being a master piece
Everything about this drama was perfect.... except for the scenario. With such an original and interesting trope, I was hyped from the first episode. It unfortunately didn't last long, but let's start with the things I enjoyed:
-The characters. They all had such great, complex, and human personnalities. Their developpement was also on point, and all the characters grew up and changed in their own ways. Even Boss, who was pretty much your basic mafia villain had some traits that made him interesting. My favorite ones were definitely: 1, Joke. A bit stupid and playful, makes everything look simple, but is very emotionally sensitive in all the good ways possible. 2, Aran. Spoiled brat who has a very good heart and loves his father no matter what. He is very human, for someone who started off as the daddy's princess stereotype. 3, Rose. I expected her to be the tipical annoying BL female rival when she was first introduced, but turns out that, while she still is a bit of a spoiled princess, she thinks logically, makes smart decisions and respects/supports Jack no matter what.
-The acting. I know I'm not taking any risk by saying that War's performance was phenomenal. But even if it's hard for the others, especially Yin, to stand out when playing alongside War, I still think they all did an amazing job and none of them stuck out with bad performance, EXCEPT for most of Boss's guards (especially in episode 12. I laughed a few times at how ridiculous their acting was, but I'm gonna say it was probably a director's choice to make them look stupid).
-The relationships. Let's put the romance aside for now and focus and the relationship itself. I really liked the dynamic between Jack and Joke. It weren't some clear Top/bottom bullshit were the bottom is basically treated like a woman or a weakling the whole show, and even during the NC scene, it wouldn't have shocked me if they had decided to switch roles. I also liked Aran and Tattoo, Tattoo and Hoy, Hoy and Nang, Nang and Rose, Joke and jack's grandma, with his family, with Toi Ting... all of the relationships, although not always developped, had some importance to the story and made everything look very natural.
Now... let's dive onto what didn't work at all: the scenario and the romance.
I am aware that this is fictional and that it doesn't need to be realistic. But there are some limits that should not be crossed if you want your story to be taken seriously.
It started from the very beginning, with the first time we saw Joke steal. I remember thinking "there is no way he got away with that." Same goes for the scene at the bank, and then for every single action/stealing scene. The employee at the bank sending a regular customer (jack) to the headquarter manager (joke). Joke knocking over a whole box of fish and icecubes in the guard room at Rose's mansion and them sitting there later like it never existed. The security camera screens giving also acess to Boss's bombing system in the last episode. Nonsense. If it were just that, it would be acceptable, but there are sooo many more moments where nothing makes sense because of the lazy writing and easy short cuts. Even though it doesn't have to always be realistic, a story must keep somewhat of a logic otherwise the audience will just stop taking it seriously. It was especially annoying in the last episode with the guards being completely useless and stupid, Boss not thinking a single time Joke could have written Zorry (and I checked, he didn't even try the W! He just pressed whatever), Joke kicking the tablet instead of bringing it closer to grab it, Jack jumping to Joke instead of grabbing that tablet later.... And I was glad the ring turned out to be the horsemen playing with Boss, because I was so done when all the sudden he was seen as this unstoppable villain just because he got his hand on some ring.
This could have been mostly ignored if it was supported by a good romance, but it was mild. A lot of people mentionned it already so I won't talk about it for long, but Jack and Joke's realtionship was treated more like a bromance than an actual romance. They had a few sweet moments, but I didn't feel that emotional/physical attraction between the two before the first kiss. Also, there were so many characters and things going on that they rarely got to share a moment just the two of them, or when they did they were surrounded by others. I really liked the scene after Rose's rescue in the first episode where Rose is trying to talk and the two guys are just looking at each other like they're the only ones to exist, but the only moment we got to enjoy this vibe again was in the last episode when they were about to die. Plus, they hurt each other so much during the whole show, that I would have wanted a more intense moment only between the two at the last episode after everything was over. We only got to see a sweet ice cream eating moment where as we should have had something more serious, more deep that could have end up in them finally and properly putting behind them all their struggles to be able to make the most out of their future. At least that's how I felt.
Anyway, it was overall a good watch and I'm gonna miss them a lot.

Jack & Joker: Surely won my heart
In my opinion, this genre suited YinWar the best! As if they were made for this. Yin's acting improved so damn much compared to what it was in En Of Love... His expression, dialogue throws everything... everything is so much better now. As for War, did we ever get to judge his acting skills? He is perfect. The most perfect actor to express anything without a single speech with the help of only eyes... Every single character was very beautifully played by each and every actor specially the little junior star who played Toi Ting. For the first time, a child cast really impressed me so much! She killed it!As for the story or plot, I thought it will have many plot holes tbh, but it proved me wrong. The plot was amazing just how it was for KinnPorsche and the cinematography, direction and also the production was totally nailed.
This one deserves a lot more promotion and recognition than anything. It had the perfect coordination of dark, fluf, comic and mystery in it making it a masterpiece for sure. The chemistry among each and everyone of them was top tier which blended so well with the on-camera bond they had to potray.
The best part of this is definitely how irrespective of the story inclination, the romance was never left out which made it such a comfortable journey to watch through.
Bored of same university typical plots? (though GMM is serving rn) You have to watch it for sure!

Stellar performance with a plot that scatters your emotions
• Jack & Joker: U steal my Heart has a plot that is all over the place and can create a surge of emotions in viewers. The hype around the show was given justice through the acting skills of each and every actor and the chemistry showcased by the main leads.•First, lets talk about the plot, shall we. I did not see the pilot teaser of this show and went straight ahead with the episodes, thinking that synopsis gave me a good idea of what I'm going to watch. From what I understood through the synopsis is that Jack and Joker, though with clashing personalities and challenging jobs (as a debt collector and thief respectively), end up joining forces for some sort of grand heist, developing a love-hate relationship. Never in a billion dreams did I think I would face a shared past with this "Strangers to Friends to Enemies to Lovers" troupe. It's not bad, but it's not what I expected. Nevertheless, I didn't let that stop me from watching. But going on forward, the show gave me a heavy sense of deja vu with it's romance side of story. JackJoker's relationship felt similar to that of VeeMark in Love Mechanics (which also starred YinWar). That did not sit right, especially given how sneaky and playful Joker should be (Mark was an emotional and heartbroken mess because of Vee). Joker's character fizzled out from being a fearless and feisty thief to a lovesick fool in search of redemption. Jack was no better. At first, his anger towards Joker felt reasonable, but then in the second half his anger and hatred towards Joker got me conflicted. Joker saved him from being lifelong indebted to that boss by stealing the ring, but Jack never saw that, and instead felt it as betrayal cause Joker had promised to never steal. But then again, the theft had resulted in Toi Ting (a young girl for whom they both cared) getting into critical condition as she was physically abused by the boss's henchmen, which only justifies his anger towards Joker to an extent. There was also this confusion I had gotten regarding as to how a normal ring had so much power, but the last episode did give me a bit of explanation. Then there was a robbery at the bank by Joker, which was executed pretty unrealistically. And the whole game thing in last episode felt petty to me. But the whole "Plan A, B, C" situation in episode 11 definitely lightened my mood, and I was surprised to find Hope tagging along. The entire story has given me mixed feelings though.
•If the plot gave me reasons to criticize the show, the acting gave me a reason to love it. War has always been a phenomenal actor. His emotional range and versatility have always left me speechless. Jack & Joker is definitely a step up for him. The quirky disguises which Joker took on, especially that of the make up lady, proved just how fantastic he is as an actor. The aggressive ways in which he flirted with Jack were equally amusing and entertaining to watch. Then in the second half of the story he devoured the angst scenes. His sorrowful cries showed how much he was in, pain, especially when Jack told him to never show his face. The pain he had after he got rejected by his father was also sad to watch. And of course, the sulky and devastated look he had in his face watching Jack entertain Rosé as if she were his lover. War as Joker is one of the best casting of this year. Yin is also significantly improving. He was able to convey the grudge Jack holds against Joker as well as the discomfort he had after being forced into a relationship with Rosé. His action scenes were also fantastic and well done. He is also a perfect casting for the role. The chemistry between the two is always a winner for me. Though their romance was slow burn and had lots of ups and downs, I enjoyed every minute of when they were together. Those kisses were chef's kiss and Jack's simple proposal in the end was adorable. I just wished that Joker would've had a proper apology from Jack for having brutally berated him. But the acting and chemistry of YinWar was the key highlight of the show.
•This shows side characters were also memorable. I never thought that there would be some sort of romantic tension between Aran and Tattoo. And though they weren't given the screentime and closure expected from them, I was actually somehow contented with what I had got from them. I was surprised that I actually like the HopeSave couple. Despite the fact that they both had done from bad things to Jack, I must say that I admired the fact that Hope stayed by Save's side and understood the latter's situation. Their redemption arc was what I needed and it kind of filled up the space of mind demanding for Aran and Tattoo. Holy was a great friend to Joker and Tattoo and I loved his funny ideas. Jack's Grandma was a whole different vibe. Her being considerate towards Joker, fangirling and shipping her grandson and Joker, and fighting with boss's henchmen were first class bl fangirl things. She was very relatable. Ting was very cute and I really felt my blood boil after seeing how ruthlessly she was attacked. Rosé gives me mixed feelings, but I mostly feel happy that she let Jack go in the end. Joker's family felt like completely jerks to me in the starting, but them wanting to rekindle with him and accepting him was good for me as long as it made Joker happy. And we don't talk about the boss and Carbon........just that they got what they deserved in the end....... humiliation.
•Overall, the saving grace for this story is clearly it's cast, it's production, the chemistry of YinWar and the comedic relief scenes. It had ambition, but failed in it's execution, but still managed to retain a few elements to keep the viewers entertained.

Broke me in a good way
I absolutely loved this drama contrary to many others who seem to have been quite disappointed.Sure if you expect a steaming hot romance show, as the trailer and the first episode indicate, you won‘t be satisfied. But after all it is a C-Drama… if you expect to watch something similar to the Borgias, you for sure will be disappointed.
The second reason why many did not like the show was that the ending was changed compared to the original novel. Since I am a sucker for sad endings, I truthfully enjoyed every heartwrenching minute of it! But yeah if you are hoping for a happy end you will get disappointed again.
I loved the chemistry not just between the leads but also between the other actors. Liu Xueyi is for me on an other level of acting and so is Wu Jinyan! I loved Liu Xueyi already in Blood of Youth and fell hard for his portrayal of Murong Jinghe. The scene of them lying on the bed both crying will hunt me to my death it was so beautiful, sad and full of feelings!
To sum up my rant: I love it! I loved the pacing, I was okay with Murong Jinghe‘s 180 degree character change (because it made sense) and I also found it understandable why the General fell for the Crown Prince (and don‘t get me started on the execution scene… beautiful!). It is a beautiful drama for people who love a good tragic story, who want to cry and feel as if their heart has been crushed and put together again.

Pain! Pain! Pain!
This is a story of pain. Sometime unimaginable and incalculable pain. Pain that for both these protagonists centered and defined their lives. Additionally, it presents, whether we like it or not, the ugly side of culture. The side of culture we accept as parenting, even though it is abusive, reprehensible, and evil. No one starts out to be such but acceptance of the nonsensical notion of making your children fit to some type of conformity is so strong that reasoning and common sense and standards of decency are thrown out the window. All to make your kid stronger; only in the end to make them weaker internally and vulnerable to doubt as to who they are. This is a story of lost souls. Astonishingly sad and told in muted tones filmed in dark hues as if to signify the total depression of the two of them. There are magical scenes in this series that will make you weep. Not from sadness but from remembrance. Remembrances of the happier times they had together.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Not new, but still enjoyable
There was nothing new with the genre and show. It was still enjoyable and made me look forward to the upcoming episodes. There was lots of misunderstanding between the couples and the story lines however they gave exactly what we knew we would receive. A Friend to Lover troupe.Best friends who have drifted apart and now fate has given them a chance to right the wrong and chase after their destiny. The chemistry between the main leads were great. I really enjoyed watching their scenes.
It was something that could or could not happened in real life. It made me think of people I might have forgotten or missed put on cause It wasn’t the right time.

The best BL series of 2024 to me!!!
Normally, I don’t review movies, but Every You Every Me (EUEM) is so amazing that I wanted to share my thoughts with others who’ve also watched it.For me, EUEM brought a whirlwind of emotions. Some people said they felt a bit confused in the first few episodes, but I didn’t. I understood their story, the intentions the director and screenwriter wanted to convey, right from the very beginning.
The way the story is built and how everything connects in this series is completely unlike any other BL films I’ve watched. It’s creative, unconventional, and the result of incredibly serious hard work by the production team. I could feel this very clearly when comparing EUEM’s approach with other films. It’s meticulous, focused on the audience’s emotions and the actors’ performances—filmmaking in the truest sense of the word, not relying on gimmicks or techniques like many other entertainment films today.
As for the actors, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen such natural acting and genuine chemistry. Top and Mick did an excellent job throughout, portraying each character so authentically and beautifully that it was heart-wrenching. Each character is a completely different persona, a distinct personality. The two of them brought these characters to life, allowing the audience to empathize, laugh, and cry with them.
On a personal note, I really, really like Mick. His characters can be incredibly adorable at times and strikingly masculine and gallant at others—all in the most natural way. It doesn’t feel like he’s acting; it’s as if he’s truly become Dol, First, X, Blue, or Inn. I don’t know if anyone else noticed, but Mick’s crying scenes are stunning. In Episode 4, when X cried, I felt like I was breaking along with him. The same goes for Episode 8. Whether he’s crying out of sadness or joy, Mick’s emotions are so raw and genuine. I truly hope Mick will have more projects soon because his acting is just that natural.
I absolutely, wholeheartedly recommend Every You Every Me! It’s phenomenal. Watch it—you won’t be disappointed!

Wasted Potential
The drama was interesting and had a lot of potential. However it wasted its potential. The story was long winded had too many plots happening at the same time. There was mystery, romance and family all happening at the same time. Now that it has completed, I see that it could have had alot more potential if they selected a main plot and not too many sub plot.It was a new troupe and i enjoyed it. However, there were more things that could have been done. The acting by the actor and actress were great but it did not give me the feeling of enjoying waiting fir the next episode. I even missed a couple of episodes for weeks as it wasn’t a drama that was at the top of my head.

WATTPAD MEETS K-DRAMA
This k-drama is only two episodes in and I am already HOOKED!! It has all my favorite tropes: arranged marriage, she fell first he fell harder, cold male lead who secretly cares for the female lead, etc. The acting and the chemistry between Yoo Yeon Seok and Chae Soo Bin is so good! I am living for the tension and Baek Sa Eon's possessiveness/protectiveness! AND THE PLOT TWISTS!? SO GOOD!! It is also a plot that I have never seen before, especially in a k-drama. Overall, such a good k-drama that has me hooked since episode one!*Will update my review once finished!

Worth watching for the acting
I was very excited when I started watching this drama because of Woo Dohwan who is basically one of my favorite actors (yes he is handsome but his acting skills are pretty amazing too).At the beginning, I was really intrigued about his character Hae Jo. And the first half of the drama was really exciting and fun!!! the whole chase through the country, the drama, the funny moments were on point, if only the drama had continued like that…
Basically, after they got rescued from the island and came back to Seoul everything went down the drain…
In my opinion there was a lot of unnecessary drama and the plot was not moving on. The main lead was sulking and treating Jae Mi like trash and it kept on going back and forth. I got quite bored during a few episodes to be honest…
And then the scene when Hae Jo leaves Jae Mi in front of her mother’s door and runs away! Why??? Why did he have to run away??? I was sooo confused! What was the point anyway if you were gonna go back to Seoul afterwards? I thought he was gonna start his journey to look for his father with Heung but no they just went back to Seoul!!! I got really annoyed tbh and I also got annoyed at Jae Mi a couple of times. At the beginning she was acting like a spoiled child, punching Hae Jo and telling him to die etc. I think thats a little bit too much to say to someone, no matter how shitty they treated you…
Ofc I was also a little bit annoyed at Hae Jo at times. Why did he have to agree to kidnap the first woman from her wedding? And why did he say such mean things to Jae Mi in their first relationship? And then being so egocentric and kidnapping her and throwing away her shoes etc.
In general I also found it kinda sad how quickly and easily Jae Mi got over Heung and the treatment of his mother and how easy it was for her to move on and fall in love with Hae Jo again… I don’t think she was really in love with him… he was just a nice man she wanted to have kids with…
And finally, I was reallyyyy annoyed about how the drama started with the search for Hae Jo’s father but was never finished!!!! Like what was the point of watching (except for Woo Dohwan’s naked upper body)??? We already knew how it was gonna end (him dying in the snow) so what other new information did we gain??? I was very confused and quite disappointed to be honest…
The storyline is definitely lacking and most of the characters were very problematic too. However here are some good points:
1. The quotes: Hae Jo had some impressive quotes and it brought me to tears many times.
2. In general it did have some tearjerking moments. I dont understand why the movie’s genre is romance/comedy… it is more of a drama imo.
3. The acting skills!!! Like no matter how annoying some characters were, the actors brought them to life sooo well and authentically… Kudos to all of these high class actors.
4. The music especially the instrumental one in dramatically sad scenes (for example when Hae Jobwas dying in the snow). It was one of the reasons I got hooked on the show. The music, directing and screenplay were done sooo well!!! I couldn’t stop thinking about it…
In general I think it is okay to watch it if you are interested but be prepared for some toxic characters and relationships…
