I'm just a simple guy temporarily(?) addicted to Asian dramas.

My scoring system before December 2024

Until December 2024 I used to rate average shows around 7.5. That's why a lot of titles have higher scores than they should. Maybe I will correct the scores some day but don't count on it.

My current scoring system

Since December 2024 I'm rating titles using following criteria:

Score	Short explanation	More details
1	Misunderstanding	I definitely recommend skipping the title. It is a waste of time and total failure. Shows that promote bad/toxic behaviour also get this score.
2	Very Bad	It is a waste of time. There might have been be some light in the tunnel but it's consumed by all the things that were done wrong.
3	Weak	In some aspect(s) the show lacks so much that it's not enjoyable.
4	Watchable	There's a bit more bad than good about the title. It still can be watched to pass the time but there probably are other, better titles for you.
5	Average	It's a default score. It's probably just another standard title. If it's a drama some episodes might have been good, some worse, but the sum of good and bad equals zero.
6	Ok	The title was quite enjoyable. It still lacks some things and may have ups and downs, but overall there's more good than bad things about it. There could something really amazing about the show but it got dragged down by something bad.
7	Good	I enjoyed watching it (sometimes even a lot). Every aspect like the acting, story, direction, production and music is at least on average level. I some cases there is something really amazing about the show but it got dragged down by other average things. I still cannot say that the title is very good, but it should be worth watching.
7,5	Good+ or... It could've been amazing but why...? 😭	The title can be very good in some aspects and ok in others, or... The title was amazing in some parts and average in others (that's why I cannot rate it higher). Some titles with this mark can be my favourite titles that I enjoyed a lot, and it breaks my heart that I cannot rate them higher because they lack in some aspect.
8	Very good	I enjoyed watching it. Everything is done really well (or some things were just ok but there were also something really awesome) and it's worth watching.
9	Amazing	I enjoyed watching it a lot. It is a title that's very good in all aspects and there is something about it that makes it stand out and shine. It's definitely worth watching.
10	Perfect	Just... WOW. I can't see any flaws in it. It plays very well with emotions, surprises the viewer in a good way. It is a gem in it's genre. It can be something that you will remember for a long time and might be willing to rewatch. It is a title that I can recommend even to people who are not familiar with Asian cinema.
