Sweet but one-dimensional
I feel that Thomas, as beautiful as he is, is just one-dimensional. Kong got better throughout the series but Teerak's 'oh no don't kiss me' mixed in with suggestively getting on his knees in front of Muenfah, all in the same episode, didn't work for me. Teerak being overly innocent was too much and too annoying. He's what, 18? 19? but genuinely thought he was having a heart problem because he felt fluttery around Muenfah. His insistence on his Dad kissing his head seemed a little strange for me, but perhaps it's a cultural thing. I used to love my Dad kissing my head, hugging me or giving me a pat on the head, but the over-dramatic neediness from Teerak about it, gave me 7-yr old vibes.I loved Babe & Dom together, both families were really nice, and I thought Auau and Save were the best actors, and have a lot of chemistry and potential. Grandpa was the MVP for me!

Hard work, slow progression in story.
The whole thing is quite jumbled. I think it's trying to be edgy, but it doesn't quite work. There are so many characters and each have their own sub-plots, so to make all the time and effort worthwhile, the ending needs to bring it all together in a dynamic exciting way - which it doesn't. The ending is lacklustre at best and bloody annoying. There is a lot of sex in this series, but zero eroticism or sensuality. Everything feels dark and dingy. You know the feeling you get if you ever walk through a dirty, rough part of town where there are lots of druggies and dodgy people - that is how most of the cinematography of this series feels. I thought it would feel a bit like KinnPorsche, or maybe Not Me, but it is miles from that because none of the characters have any chemistry in this series. Its hard to know if this is what it was meant to be like, or if this is just the best they could manage. I often wonder if different actors could have improved it, I think probably they could but if would still never me an outstanding series.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

It's not slow, but it's thorough.
Only light spoilers, nothing big.This series was never high on my list until I loved Santa in P10L and had to watch his back catalogue of work.
Instantly this became one of my all time favourite series. It is slow in that each plot point is really dealt with slowly and authentically. Things don't magically get fixed or become better. Everything seems realistic, all the difficulties and all the celebrations are relatable. Its set in the 1990s-2000s and when the two main characters get their first mobiles, it's fun to watch them have to top up so they can send messages. They see the wonder of MSN Messenger. And as the audience we get to see what effect these have.
I'm not good at reviews, sorry! One thing to know before you go into it, if you wish to, is that it doesn't contain any NC scenes. There are lots of kisses and cuddles though - LOTS! I'm normally a 'more naked the better' viewer so for me to say this, it's a big deal, but I didn't need the NC. Watching the emotions comes through was enough.
The entire cast are excellent! I was a little irritated by Seeiaw's whining sometimes because for me, as an English person, it was very nasal and whiny which I struggle with. It wasn't a big deal though. His actual crying in the sad scenes was excellent - the acting from Santa and Earth is Oscar-worthy.
I know I'm going to watch this again already!!
