What you need to understand before you watch this is that it is basically a Korean Epic. Like a Chinese Historical Epic but Korean and has to do with crime and justice.
• If you want to get past the sorrow and crazy from the beginning go to episode 8. Those first 8 episodes have been hard for me.
• There are many flashbacks of important things because of the length of the series, it was broadcast on tv, and the year it came out so keep that in mind while watching.
