Veteran Actors set the stage for intense power struggles in 'The Art of Negotiation'

The upcoming JTBC Saturday-Sunday drama The Art of Negotiation unveils new stills featuring Sung Dong Il (as Song Jae Sik), Jang Hyun Sung (as Ha Tae Su), and Oh Man Seok (as Lee Dong Joon), influential power players at Sanin Group. 

The Art of Negotiation is an office drama that follows the exploits of the ace negotiator Yoon Joo No (Lee Je Hoon) — a corporate M&A expert — and his team.  

In the K-drama, Song Jae Sik (Sung Dong Il), the chairman of Sanin Group, is a self-made business legend who started out with Sanin Construction and, with his exceptional business acumen, grew it into one of South Korea's leading conglomerates.

As a living legend who wrote the history in Korea's business world, Song Jae Sik, faced with a crisis threatening the very company he built with his own hands, brings in M&A expert Yoon Joo No (Lee Je Hoon), setting off a new storm within Sanin Group.

The person most unsettled by this move of Song Jae Sik is Sanin Group's CFO (Chief Financial Officer), Ha Tae Su (Jang Hyun Sung). As the group's second-in-command, he controls its financial lifeline — managing assets, accounting, and investments — and has been expanding his influence all while eyeing the chairman's seat. However, his plans face a major setback with Song Jae Sik's unexpected move.

Will Ha Tae Su succeed in reaching the top of Sanin Group as he desires? And why did Song Jae Sik suddenly bring in Yoon Joo No?

With Yoon Joo No's arrival triggering a seismic change in Sanin Group's power dynamics, attention is also turning to the actions of Lee Dong Joon (Oh Man Seok), the group's head of external relations.

Despite being an influential figure and Song Jae Sik's closest confidant, he shows no interest in power. Instead, he actively supports Yoon Joo No, raising curiosity about his true intentions.

As such, Song Jae Sik, Ha Tae Su, and Lee Dong Joon become entangled in a complex web of interests surrounding Sanin Group and Yoon Joo No, heightening the tension at the negotiation table where the company's fate hangs in the balance.

The Art of Negotiation will premiere on March 8. The K-drama is reported to stream on Viki.
