Kang Ha Neul and Go Min Si's 'Tastefully Yours' takes Netflix by storm
Disney+ will be releasing A Normal Family worldwide on April 16.
A Normal Family tells the story of two families, holding differing beliefs, whose lives are upended after they come to know of their children's crimes recorded in CCTV footage.
The powerhouse cast, including Sol Kyung Gu, Jang Dong Gun, Kim Hee Ae, and Claudia Kim, bring depth to the film with their fine acting prowess.
Sol Kyung Gu plays Jae Wan, a lawyer who prioritizes material desires and doesn't hesitate to defend a murderer. Jang Dong Gun portrays Jae Gyu, a caring pediatrician who values principles. Kim Hee Ae takes on the role of Yeon Kyung, a successful freelance translator who manages everything from her children's education to caring for her in-laws. Soo Hyun, aka Claudia Kim, plays Ji Soo, a mother of a baby, who maintains strict self-discipline and observes the family with the most objective perspective.
A Normal Family won Best Screenplay at both the Director's Fortnight at the 44th Fantasporto International Film Festival and the 39th Mons International Film Festival, and was also invited to the Gala Presentation section of the 48th Toronto International Film Festival. The K-movie was invited to a total of 19 film festivals worldwide.
