Won Jin A is positively reviewing offer to star alongside Ji Sung in a new MBC K-drama
Lee Hak Joo's third K-drama for 2025 will possibly be Esquire.
On February 11, media outlet SPOTV News reported that Lee Hak Joo will be one of the main leads of the upcoming K-drama Esquire.
If Lee Hak Joo confirms his casting, this will be his third K-drama project for 2025. He recently made a special cameo appearance in the Coupang TV original series Newtopia led by Park Jeong Min, BLACKPINK's Kim Ji Soo, Im Sung Jae, Kim Joon Han, Kang Young Seok, and Hong Seo Hee.
Lee Hak Joo will also star in the soon-to-premiere tvN K-drama The Potato Lab alongside Kang Tae Oh, Lee Sun Bin, Shin Hyun Seung, Kim Ga Eun, and Kwak Ja Hyung.
The actor was praised for his villainous performance in last year's K-drama Parole Examiner Lee.
Lee Hak Joo has starred in various K-dramas such as LTNS, My Dearest, Shadow Detective, My Name, The World of the Married, and more.
Actors Lee Jin Wook, Jung Chae Yeon, and Jeon Hye Bin will reportedly work together for the upcoming K-drama.
Esquire will revolve around the stories of lawyers at a prestigious law firm. It will focus on a rookie lawyer at Yurim Law Firm and her mentor.
The K-drama will be the next work of director Kim Jae Hong who also worked for the K-dramas Flex X Cop, Revenant, and Through the Darkness.
Lee Hak Joo got the offer to portray the role of Lee Jin Woo. He will also be one of the lawyers at Yurim Law Firm and the colleague of Lee Jin Wook and Jung Chae Yeon's characters.
Esquire will air in 2025. It will have a total of 12 episodes and will exclusively air on JTBC.
