The psychological thriller Somebody has confirmed its theatrical release slot for March 2025.
Somebody is a psychological thriller that follows Young Eun (Kwak Sun Young), whose life is collapsing due to her daughter So Hyun's (Gi So Yoo) bizarre behavior, and Min (Kwon Yu Ri), a woman with no memories of her past 20 years, who experiences a sense of unease around Hae Young's (Lee Seol).
The poster captivates with its striking visuals, highlighting the tension between the three characters and the discord between them.
Kwak Sun Young plays Young Eun, a mother struggling to raise her seven-year-old daughter So Hyun — who is a bit different from other children — alone. Her desperate efforts to prevent her daughter's dangerous behavior from spiraling out of control raise questions about how her seemingly ordinary life will turn upside down and the choices she will make.
Kwon Yu Ri plays Min, and Lee Seol comes as Hae Young. Set 20 years after the story of Young Eun and So Hyun, the plot follows Min, who has lost memories of the past and now works for a special cleaning company that deals with cases of solitary deaths. The sudden appearance of the bright yet unsettling stranger, Hae Young, leads to a series of unpredictable events, promising gripping suspense.
Additionally, the tagline "If you do something wrong, you should be punished."
Somebody is an adaptation of a webtoon of the same Korean name, which achieved an impressive overall rating of 9.82 and received acclaim for its ingenious storytelling and compelling character arcs.
Somebody is releasing this March. Stay tuned!
