Park Bo Gum will reportedly lead a new historical war film
Actor Jung Kyung Ho is reportedly taking on another lawyer role this year.
On February 19, media outlets reported that Jung Kyung Ho is leading another K-drama this year. The actor was offered a star role in the upcoming K-drama Pro Bono.
Pro Bono will depict the story of lawyers who handle pro bono (for the public good in Latin) cases with zero fees and revenue.
Jung Kyung Ho received an offer to play the role of Kang David, a well-known judge. He became a pro bono lawyer after a sudden crisis.
Pro Bono will be the collaboration work of director Kim Seong Yoon (Itaewon Class, Love in the Moonlight, and Who Are You: School 2015) and writer Moon Yoo Seok (The Devil Judge and Miss Hammurabi).
The upcoming K-drama will reportedly premiere in the second half of 2025.
If Jung Kyung Ho decides to join Pro Bono, this will be his second time portraying a lawyer in 2025.
Jung Kyung Ho is set to lead the upcoming mystery comedy K-drama Oh My Ghost Clients with Seol In Ah, Cha Hak Yeon, Tang Jun Sang, and Moon So Ri. In the series, he will portray the role of a labor attorney.
He will also return to the doctor role through the upcoming K-drama Resident Playbook. He will make a special cameo appearance and return as Doctor Kim Jun Wan of Hospital Playlist.
Aside from the upcoming K-dramas, Jung Kyung Ho will also return to the movie scene with the new films Galatea and Boss.
Jung Kyung Ho is known for being part of the K-dramas Crash Course in Romance, Hospital Playlist, When the Devil Calls Your Name, Life on Mars, Prison Playbook, Missing 9, and more.
