Unlock of Love Episode 6 Reações

The worst kind of episode, where nothing happens...

The first thing we find out is that Mai does NOT want to get together this Deane, she just invited her to her wedding and would like her to attend, as she is relocating in England after that. And why didn’t Deane tell that to Pat ?!??

Deane needs to get over herself before she starts potential partners even more – when even the relationship-averse Rain tells you that, there’s probably something to it. The three of them tell her that she can’t be happy again unless she is taking a risk.

Outside, Rain and Love are talking; Love senses there’s something going on in her head, and asks whether she wants her ex Arm back. But Love needn’t worry she only think about her old job and wants it back; she tells her to go for it. They go back to Rain’s place, and start immediately with some heavy makeout. Rain throws her jacket away – and accidentally lets a drink on an adjacent spill over an extension cord from one of the show’s sponsors., showing how safe they are. Then the makeout continues – until Love’s hair gets stuck in her Rain’s bracelet. That more or less kills the mood, after Love hair is free again, they end with an inspirational talk about work. Great…

Meanwhile, Deane is sitting alone in the dark and think back on her relationship with Pat, how friendly Pat was, and how sh*tty she treated her.

The next day, Rain returns to work – and immediately run into Miss Kitty the artist that got her suspended. Rain apologizes for her behavior, but Kitty still wants to cancel all projects that were assigned to Rain. The boss agrees, but won’t let Rain go, thus, Kitty severs all ties with the company. The boss is not worried, as long as the company does good work, they will be fine. He will take her back because he didn’t suspend her because she was yelling at a client, but because she was too self-centered. Okay…

Then, there’s a commotion outside - Fern and Botan are fighting. Apparently, Botan has cheated with Arm on Fern. So, Arm is a really classy guy… The boss tells them to get their sh*t together or resign. They REALLY need someone professional like Rain…

Outside, Love was waiting for Rain. She congratulates her on getting her job back, and tells her it never rains forever.

Later, it’s time for the obligatory bathtub scene; that one stays pretty tame. They think about Pat and how they haven’t been able to reach out to her. They decide to visit her the next day. The following morning, it’s time to mention the toast sponsor again.

Then for some reason, we get a completely pointless scene with Love’s fiends Bowie and Wawa.

Then, we get a completely silly scene with Pat binge-eating food cause of her falling out with Deane. I’m guessing this scene was supposed to be more dramatic, but no one could keep a straight face to this silliness, not even Cake (the actress playing Pat). Cringe!

Some time later – Pat has cleaned up the mess she made – Deane shows up and wants to make up with her. Pat is not convinced at first, but Deane is willing to take her seriously this time. Let’s see if she can really do that…

Meanwhile, Love and Rain are back in the bathtub or shower or something. And this time Rain initiates the kissing session – but Love hits her head at some shelf and requires a Band-Aid. After that, they resume kissing – and fall off the couch. This is getting ridiculous…

The episode ends with Pat returning to work for Deane – but she brought no food for Deane this time…

Well that was a whole lot of nothing. The minimal plot got stretched to the limit, and a lot of silliness filed the runtime. I did not like the episode, I think it was the worst one so far, even Rain and Love didn’t get anything to do besides advertise toast and safety plugs. But next week, apparently, something will happen…
