ceritanya tidak monoton.. selalu ada kejutan disetiap episodenya dan emosi penonton dibuat naik turun, akting dari para aktornya juga bisa membuat penonton larut dalam ceritanya.
sangat menyukai chemistry antara pemain utama pria dan pemain utama wanita, mereka sangat serasi dan apik dalam memerankan karakter di drama ini.
terdapat banyak quotes menarik yang disampaikan beberapa karakter yang sangat relate dengan kehidupan sehari hari yang bisa menjadi inspirasi bagi penonton dalam menjalani kehidupan mereka sehari hari.
konflik yang disuguhkan juga tidak membosankan dan terkesan natural tidak berlebihan, jadi benar benar seperti menonton kisah hidup orang biasa sehari hari

it was a solid watch,

I just watched this drama, and I have to say, the story and characters were really well done! The plot was engaging, and I found myself really invested in the characters' journeys. However, I do wish there had been more intimate moments between them ( You know what I mean😝). It felt like there was potential for deeper connections that just weren't fully explored.

The opening and ending songs were absolutely captivating; they really set the tone for the whole experience and added an extra layer of emotion. I loved how the music complemented the story beautifully. Plus, the ending was so happy! It left me with a warm feeling, which is always nice after a dramatic journey. Overall, it was a solid watch, but a bit more depth in the relationships would have made it even better.

was very impressed with this drama, from the storyline, visuals, acting, especially the ost was very precise and everything was able to blend well with the story so that we as viewers were increasingly carried away by scene by scene. I will never forget this drama, thank you Yue and Lin Yi as well as the director What makes the drama so good is that it tears the audience's emotions apart. sometimes it suddenly makes us laugh but suddenly it also makes us cry . When Gu Yi lost his mother, it was the saddest moment, I cried because I remembered my mother who had also died😩😭 sentimental feeling

This show is just... so good! I was excited for it even before it aired, but honestly, I didn't have high hopes since I usually find modern Chinese dramas a bit dull and hard to engage with. I was really hoping this one would keep my attention, and let me tell you—it absolutely has!

Right now, I’m also watching other dramas like Fangs of Fortune, Love Eastern Game Fantasy, and Story of Pearl Girl. They’re released around the same time each morning, but I always find myself watching Smile Code first.

What I really love about this show is how unique it feels compared to others. The male lead (ML) is emotionless due to a mental condition, so he’s cold and blunt, especially at first with the female lead (FL). In most dramas, the ML is cold without any real reason, but here, his struggle to understand emotions is central to who he is. He can feel things; he just doesn’t know how to express them. This is where the FL, who’s all warmth and sunshine, comes in to "heal" him.

From the very first episode, their chemistry is so strong, and by episode twoo or three, she’s already moved in with him, which I love because it means they’ll get even closer. I’m already picturing their dating phase, getting butterflies just thinking about it!

I highly recommend watching Smile Code—you won’t regret it!

A Must Watch - Unique Story

The characters and story in this piece are exceptionally well-crafted, truly showcasing the depth of human experience. Each character is portrayed with such authenticity, and their journeys reflect the complexities of life, work, family, and love as they navigate and influence the world around them. There are particularly poignant scenes where the main character meets with his psychiatrist, offering not just healing for him, but also resonating deeply with the audience if they are open to it. The development of the characters is incredibly moving, especially in the later episodes, as they learn to understand and support each other through their struggles. I wholeheartedly recommend this drama—it's a beautifully woven narrative that I cherish.

Super Cute Drama!!!

This drama is a breath of fresh air. Ever since watching Till the end of the Moon. I have not watched any other Chinese drama since it’s always been the same generic theme. However when I decided to give “Smile Code” a try I got hooked. I loved the concept and storyline about a male figure not being able to express any feelings to love another person. I have to admit the drama started slow and I basically skimmed through scenes about the company but whenever Shenyue and Lin Yi appeared on screen I find them so natural and adorable with one being so happy and bubbly person which resonates to Shen Yue personality in real life and Lin Yi haha, I always pictured him as a cool and collected person who no reactions to anything and this fits him haha. And for him to making jokes with a straight poker face. I can’t haha, one minute he compliments and treats the female lead with care, next minute he says something that sounds offensive 😆. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry seeing Lin Yi 😆 I can’t wait for upcoming scenes where he rejects her and he start to really have feelings and don’t want to lose her. Not looking foreword for the main lead female boss. Not liking her too much. She’s so passive aggressive to my female lead. But our FL is strong, she has so many people backing up and supporting her (SML, ML, ML friend). Can’t wait to see what the rest of the episodes will bring us!! Can’t wait for our ML to make his move once he rejects and pushes her away, he’s going to work really hard to win her back

Believe it or not, I loved every single minute of it.

Even though I am a big fan of Shen Yue (to be perfectly honest, she is the only Chinese actress I'm fan of), I'm writing my honest review. My all-time favorite cdramas are A Love So Beautiful and Go Ahead. This drama is now added to the list. Such a wonderful story besides the acting, cinematography, and soundtracks. People think this drama is just a rom-com, but let me tell you it is not just that. It's about healing, loving someone no matter what, family relationships, friendships, and more. This drama made me feel all kinds of emotions. Now, I just don't know how I'm going to move on from this. I'm actually planning on binge-watching it again in a couple of weeks. For those who are asking whether they should watch this or whether this is a good drama, I recommend watching it first, then deciding whether to continue or not.
