So far good
This is my first time watching any series with 3 of theses actors. Neung, palm and BenI don't know them at all but sooo far am enjoying it. I really came here if am being truthful it's because of Perth. I came too see his acting. Last series I watched with him was love by chance. So far am digging his character as Copper. Just hope they don't turn him a villain in the series. Need him and Ben to figure their shit out and get ready for dangerous moment with them. Hope it's not another death for him.😒 Anywho Let's see how the rest plays out. Complete and love it

10/10
I went into this series and was not disappointed at all. So, I was shocked to see bad reviews left underneath NLMG. Personally, I thought it was great and emotional. I could feel the chemistry and love between the leads.I like the bodyguard protecting rich boy theme. There was very noticeable character development with Nuengdiao, and I also LOVED Palm. After watching NLMG I became obsessed with Phuwin & Pond, they’re so cute.
I say this series was definitely worth the watch to the point it nearly topped “The Eclipse” in my list.

It Is Really A Beautiful Story
It is told very well with both storylines and great acting. I was impressed with how engrossed I became in their quest and in the lives of the two main characters. This series had all the earmarks of being just another Thai BL series but this one took itself more seriously and worked very hard to project a moral arc to it with an outcome that was painful, real, and incredibly honest. This is also one of the few Thai BLs of late that had serious conversations about relationships and how impactful they are to one another and what the consequences of falling in love can be.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

The chemistry brought the series to success
*happy ending*This series is a good combination of romance, action and drama. And I loved every inch of it.
The main characters had the best chemistry, though at times Pond's face is a bit luckluster especially during serious conversations.
The other characters are very well casted. I loved every character, even the villain for their magnificent acting. I was deeply immersed to the story because of it.
The soundtrack is bomb. I had to save the whole album of the series in spotify because there is no song I didn't like. Highly recommended playlist.
The cinematography is chef's kiss. The color scheme is a mellow brown which gives off a feel of 90s kind of show.
The story may need a few tweaks though. There are parts that may seem like a stupid decision for the characters to do. Also, Palm never got out of his 'responsibility' love for Nueng which is kinda sad for me. I hope he learns to love himself as well and be spoiled to Nueng.
All in all, this is one of the best series created by gmmtv and a great series for PondPhuwin ❤️
Definitely a must watch!

Never let me go
Quite promising! Overall this story does have a strong pilot. It starts off with intense emotions. The storyline is typical but has a fresh feel to it. The lead pair's acting skills have improved drastically, and all the cast members complement each other's roles well. Mid-episodes give the feeling of a magical summer romance with a deepening feeling between Nueng and Palm. Towards the end, there was a big u-turn into the thriller element with massive emotional turmoil among both couples. If you truly love someone, you will do anything to make sure everything is perfect, no matter what the cost you have to pay for the other person's happiness. This emotion was well portrayed by both the lead couples. I hope I didn't reveal much.Nueng and Palm: Pond and Phuwin did great with their respective characters. Nueng's jealousy over Maggie is funny and cute. Both Nueng and Palm subconsciously have feelings towards each other, but they are not able to express them properly. Wu and David's proposal gave the push Nueng needed to ask Palm to date, while Mama Mam gave that push to Palm. Phuwin as Nueng 2.0 towards the end was on point and top-notch. The whole reminiscences track between Nueng and Palm made this episode worthwhile. Nueng and Palm had lost the essence of their happiness, but ultimately, they got want they truly deserved.
Ben and Chopper: Initially, I felt terrible for Chopper, and I was not too fond of Ben and Nueng's scenes. Ben did cause a significant problem, which made Nueng doubt everyone who was genuinely friendly and caring towards him. But no one can actually blame him because he was forced to do this by his toxic father. I felt terrible for Chopper. Got their happy ending.
Kit: Crucial character.
Phiphop: He seemed like a good and caring father.
Tanya: She is such a sweetheart who loves her son no matter what happens and trusts him. Mrs Tanya did a great job by giving the push Nueng required.
Maggie: She is one of the few who truly cares and understands Palm. She is fresh and supportive.
Channon: The way Palm's dad treats him is awful, but in the end, he realised his mistakes.
Mama Mam: Her character is funny and a much-needed character to be introduced to lighten the whole vibe of the series. I like Mam's character development, and it just makes sense everyone has the right to live their life on their terms, especially all the Asian mothers out there because they make many sacrifices for their families. I really wish we had more episodes with her.
Phum: Double-faced and doesn't know the entire side of the story and acted based on it, but in the end, he knows the truth.
OSTs:
"Living for you" OST by Phuwin is magical and heavenly and complimented the wedding scene well.
"Only One" by Pond is sweet and gives the feeling of longing.
I really enjoyed listening to them.
All the other music chosen for the whole series was fantastic.

I love the story, the chemistry between the lead and the queer director behind the series
I love almost everything about the series.I love the chemistry between Pond and Phuwin, I never watched them anywhere before, but after watching this I went to see their previous series FUTS and that was hilarious.
I love the BGM. (except the cowboy song in the make out session, that was strange)
I love the fact this was Jojo's first Y series. And he was the biggest Pond and Phuwin's fanboy behind the scene.
I don't understand the moaning and whining that the side couple didn't get enough screen time, since it is always like that. And the side couple will have their own series soon. I hope they will have some workshop to increase the chemistry, because rn what I see is just bromance. (Perth did say that he won't do another BL and now he came back biting his own words. I loved him in BLC with Saint, but I also hated the mess his manager and his fans did to Saint. They really did Saint dirty, almost ruining the boy's career, but good thing he came back strong). Perth can act, that is a yes, but no, he did not carry the show. I wouldn't be glued to my screen for 12 episodes and became a new fan of the two main leads if Perth is the one who carry the show.
I also love all the senior actors in the series, Organ and Nat, wow!!!
I understand Palm's struggle, the body and mind metaphor Nueng Diao talked about in the car. But both have very little self esteem in a different way, both didn't believe that they deserved to be loved. Nueng with his isolation due to his status, Palm from the abandonment issue both from his father and mother. People said Palm is so passive, but that was deeply embeded, he internalized everything. He did not say much, but he remembers. You can see the example all over the series (Kit told him in early episode that he was like Tanya's charity project and when Chopper in the last episode told him he will pay for the hospital bill, he told Chopper he doesn;t want to be their charity project). Another one fromm ep 1 ND asked him if he can actually take care of a rich boy like him, a guy from small fishing village. Palm mentioned this again in ep. 12. Still holding a grudge. This guy never forget all the bad words thrown at him. He just keep it inside. The character development is there, if you failed to see it. It is on your own. I myself, really love the series. I am now a fan of both Pond and Phuwin. They're hilarious on twitter as well. I have been Jojo's fans since 3 Will be Free. Now I am waiting for his gay mess on Only Friends.
Thanks Jojo for great drama, and thanks Pond Phuwin for great performance!

Very good !
I know some people may disagree with me but it's one of the best Thai series I ever watched and I watched a lot lol.I don't understand why some people are "hating" on it, I mean I know that at first it's not really credible (Palm being a bodyguard but he was like 18)
The acting was great in general but really great in some scene, this show was so emotional and so well portrayed ! Everyone did a really good job.
It also, in my opinion, contains great females representations, Nueng's mom is an empowering woman and she was so accepting when he came out ! Palm's mom is so cool and I LOVE her style ! Maggi is so funny and kind...and others like Tam (if I remember well her name)
It also deals with some topics like homophobia which is very nice !
The musics were also really well chosen and fit perfectly the scene happening.
Anyway I think you should watch it !
(Sorry for my English)

A good ‘can’t go wrong’ storyline with a so-so execution.
If I was being honest, I loved the first episode. I could already tell I would want to finish it entirely from the story and its elements. (such as the bodyguard and rich mc x poor mc tropes, which I'm usually a sucker for)The chemistry, in my opinion, was a little stiff during the first episode and was just slightly more bearable in the second. The chemistry definitely had a better shift in the third episode, not a drastically good change, just a noticeable improved positive change, nonetheless, I’m pretty sure that it will get better once Ben is out of the picture since it seems like Nuengdiao’s attention is split between him and Palm.
I personally loved the, “I’m not looking for a protector but a friend” agenda Nuengdiao had, knowing that he comes from a very guarded and rich family that prevented him from ever forming deep connections with other people his age. The development they’re doing with the two also seems promising, so hopefully, this keeps up.
I say it was a so-so execution since I’m aware that this all boils down to personal preference. Some people would absolutely love this show and its essence, some would appreciate it but not fully be able to immerse themselves because of the acting so far (aka me), especially from the actor playing Palm, considering that his character is supposed to have so much depth and room to play out the protector role of Nuengdia better, I expected him to have more emotion than just always looking intimidated and or shy. At the same time, some would rather not touch it because of some plot holes and questionable lack of logical elements that should’ve been introduced given the situation of the show.
I appreciate how Chopper is very real and it’s great to have a character that isn’t your typical all-hate-in-his-mind person knowing he could’ve been so with his background and environment.
As of the 4th episode, I’m rating this show a solid 7.5/10.

I love this series
This series is definitely recommended if you like thai bl. It is very exciting. The actors acted it very well. This series from GMMTV is definitely a success. In my opinion, it has the best shade of series. I love this series because it has a very beautiful and perfect story. The only thing that bothered me a little bit is that there might be a bit too many death scenes. I am looking forward to more series from PondPhuwin.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

it's all about the chemistry
I believe Director Jojo has said this was inspired by 90's Lakorns and it meant to feel more like those than some kind of mafia drama. The point of the show is watching Palm and Nueng fall in love and damn if they don't look amazing while they do. Perth and Chimon are kind of wasted after episode 6 but they were good for what they were needed for. Phuwin does a wonderful job establishing Nueng as vulnerable as he is bratty. I watched FUTS and Pond had a lot of moments there of obvious "acting" and there is none of that to be seen here. He is quiet, intense, in a lot of ways he reminded me of Heath Ledger in Brokeback Mountain in that he is feeling so much but doesn't have the words or the position to say them.
