What a great little miniseries
I thoroughly enjoyed this anime and I love the charcacter in the anime.I originally wasn't going to watch this but I had to see if it was on par with the anime. While it's different and we don't get the main cast of characters, that makes that show so enjoyable, I did ultimately, love this very short series with great life hacks. At first I was a little annoyed that his wife never appears but I got over that. I also loved the fact that the actor, Tsuda Kenjiro also voices the anime character. His voice is so relaxing. I hope there are more seasons of this.
I plan to read the manga now as well!

Guide to being a Househusband?
This was a fun and quirky 5 episodes with a man's inner monologue to being a "househusband". The episodes were quick and easy to watch, being only five/six minutes long. It was well shot and edited. Furthermore, the length of the episodes were quite suitable to keep the audience’s attention, any longer would’ve made each episode a drag. The music used was quirky to add to the comedic effect of each episode. Finally, there’s really no rewatch value to this but it’s nice as a quick and lighthearted show to watch.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
It was a disappointment.
This was a big disappointment after watching the anime version on Netflix. There's Gokushufudo (2020), another Japanese live version that is truer to the anime. This 2021 version was calming but lacked the characters and humor of the anime version. What we get are artistic, quiet homemaker instructional videos. There is no background to explain who the character is, why he's such a skilled homemaker, or what the actual point of the show is. Clearly it was a vanity project for the actor, Tsuda Kenjiro, who voices the anime version. If this was commissioned by Netflix then they completely missed the mark.I haven't seen the Gokushufudo but it has to be better than this one. If you want a show to help you fall asleep then watch this version. Otherwise, go watch the anime and Japanese live version elsewhere.

LOVED IT!
I loved this live-action vignettes!Tatsu is, as always, extremely hilarious!
But it is not only this, that made me love it, I found it really informative.
I lot of things it says, I really didn't know before. It is helpful!
I wish we could have more episodes about it, explaining more things! It would be great!
I also wish I could have a house like his, because it is gorgeous, exactly my ideal place!
We even got to see the cat! The only thing I felt was missing, was his wife!
Where is my queen?!
Was she working the whole time?!
Such a queen!

Refreshing, for a quick break
While the series may have critics who are avid readers of the manga, I find it unfair to compare them. Each genre brings its own charm. So it is not ideal to compare this short series to its source manga. The Japanese house, garden and scenery is refreshing to the viewer and very pleasing. Each episode is just 5-6 minutes long. It is funny and charming.
This series can be binged in just 30 minutes. It's perfect for a quick break.
There is nothing much to be added on. I hope there will be another season.

Short and Sweet, but Fun to Watch!
As someone who watched the anime I found the live action to be more enjoyable to watch. Tsuda Kenjiro portrayed the role perfectly . As someone who is a fan of his voice work for his various anime roles, it was great to see him actually do the live version of the character he voiced.I like that they kept the episodes short and didn't try to stretch them out with filler story. I also enjoyed that the stories used for the live episodes were actually different from the anime episodes. This is a charming drama that can be binged watch in less than an hour. I really hope that they will do a second season of this like they are with the anime.

Esta resenha pode conter spoilers
A very, very, very short Jdrama - 5 episodes 5 minutes each, available via Netflix International - about a guy going about housework. It's based on a popular anime (if I understand it correctly) and it's actually quite funny. I liked all the episodes well enough - well, all of them but the last one, the one about recycling, that one was rather lame and kinda boring. The rest was at the very least aesthetically pleasing with some really practical advice here and there. But it wasn’t really anything to write home about, to be perfectly honest.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
