If there is anything to love, it's the freedom to drop it and never look back
It is always sad to see a drama have so much potential and then lose all of it in the first 3 episode, this could have gone so far and done so well instead it stayed right where it started, stagnant, dull, annoying.I have watched 16 episode and there is no character development, no plot, no plot twist, no plot development, no obstacles, no setbacks, no punch, no pull. It is just a bunch of 'designed to be cute fluffy' moments strung together in a pretty backdrop with pretty people wearing subpar clothing and eating overhyped food.
*It is less like a drama and more like a food blog, a side of recipe with too much useless shit around it.*
The romance started unrealistic, gave a glimmer of hope and fell flat. It was so repetitive and so mind numbing. The least they could have done was shown some character development in the romance part but no, Mr Mo almost looks predatory when faced with Sheng's exceedingly childish reactions. I get shy, I get first love and the jitters of first relationship- this was not that.
I had hopes from this show and the trajectory of the rise, decline and death of those hopes would have made a better drama.
If anyone wants to watch it still, I suggest watching highlight compilation on youtube, if any. It would be a better use of your time for an equal, or better, enjoyment and returns.

Esse drama virou o meu drama chinês preferido. Amei do início ao fim. Chorei muito quando terminou, mas foi de tanta emoção que senti. Super indico. cenários impecáveis, atores excelentes, músicas lindas e emocionantes. Todos os atores tiveram sua história passada. Muito bem elaborada. A química do casal principal foi linda demais. Os olhares deles. Se tivesse mais 20 episódios veria tranquilamente. Esse drama é pra quem quer ficar com o coração quentinho de tanta felicidade. Really boring and unrealistic
I really tried holding onto this show in hope I would start enjoying it but this is really one of those over rated dramas because of the leads … It might be just not my cup of tea but this really do not have any story at all also it’s too unrealistic and fake to feel anything in it … like seriously they just listened to each other’s voice and fell in love … like this drama just started and they are already together … slow paced dramas are great if they have a story in them … but this is just too boring .Maybe the writer is just fulfilling her unrealistic dream through this … she just created a perfect boyfriend for her .

A snoozefest! Watch if you have insomnia !
I started this series because I liked the FL in Word of Honour where she played a spunky and bratty character. And Tan Jianci was great in Lost you forever. Now I have a great tolerance for fluffy romances but this one was terrible. Very boring and bland characters and no story like zilch nada. Nothing happens. The FL got on my nerves with her asthmatic voice and annoying gasps while speaking. She was a stereotypical pathetic female lead who exists solely to moon over an unrealistic glorified male lead. The ML was borderline creepy as he hit on a child like FL with no brains character or any kind of personality. It just turned me off and frankly I could not bear to see them together as it looked like a grown ass man dating a child. I dropped it after a few episodes and it put me to sleep. I watch dramas for some passion, growth and at least some kind of excitement but this was a veritable sooozefest. Both of the leads were terrible and the supporting cast were just cheerleaders for the main leads with no redeeming arcs! Baah waste of my time!Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Boring
Got bored after a few episodes. After seeing the high ratings, I gave it a chance but I got so bored, the bgm does not suit the drama, and the dialogues do not have a flair. Even the songs are boring. I don't recommend this to anyone, I literally forced myself to watch this drama, but I cant anymore. An Empty vessel
This drama could have been better but it’s just boring and blah. There is no story here. Yes there are many dramas about th couple fall in love but they had substance. This one not so much. The ML is far too good to be cast in this drama and all the FL does is smile and eat. They both just smile at each other and talk about mundane stuff . How much can you watch this for 33 episodes. There is nothing going on there. The FL is a woman child and there is nothing interesting about her. The ML is too mature for her - there is absolutely no character development nothing.
