Sweet take on neuro-diversity
I really liked this drama for its handling of romantic love and neuro-diversity. It's pretty clear that Sang Woo is on the autism spectrum. Every detail to signal this has been provided - the fact he needs routine, order and predictability, his tactile defensiveness (hates being touched unexpectedly), the smart guy who treats people like objects - it's all there but it's done in such a way that it is not necessary to label him on the basis of it. Instead, the direction seems to have an enjoyable and affectionate take on many of his "robotic" mannerisms, providing a lighter and less stereo-typed take on difference.Sang Woo has to grow the most - he has to become flexible and allow himself to love and in this way, he is able to find his place in the world and someone to be with in it.
There's a real sweetness to this drama, and sincerity which makes it feel fresh despite it covering all the usual themes. This is a BL drama and just like with the theme of neuro-diversity, the attraction of these 2 leads needs no explanation or defending to anyone. They are just who they are, doing what they do, and everyone goes along with it.
Conclusion: easy to watch and a nice bite sized binge for a rainy afternoon.

Doesn't Reinvent the Wheel, In the Best Way
This drama is not doing anything new. The enemies to lovers trope, the college setting, the tsundere/sunshine trope...however, it does it extremely well to the point where I didn't care.Instead of feeling like a bunch of chopped up pieces of a rushed movie, this series packs each 20-25 minute episode with fully fleshed characters, great chemistry and dialogue. This is a great example of how a short web-series can be done correctly and effectively.
It won't win any awards for uniqueness, but who cares? It's so fun to watch!

Would have been an amazing drama if it didn't have a Semantic Error!
Semantic Error is a very good light-hearted BL drama. However, the semantic error in this drama is that it's a drama... The definition of drama is a movie or television production with characteristics (such as conflict) of a serious play... Semantic Error doesn't really have any real conflict or drama that raises the stakes for any of the characters, so while a great one time watch, if you sit back and think, do I want to watch this again, the answer is no. It's a good one time watch, but because the last episode is rushed the "drama" in this drama is missing, which led to the downfall of this drama.STORY:
Chu Sangwoo is a junior college student with a robotic sense of rules. He makes a presentation about his group work and decides to by name drop everyone who didn't help him with the project. This name dropping results in the university dropping the grades of everyone who didn't help, including Jang Jaeyoung. Jaeyoung's graduation and plans to study abroad are put on hold. so he decides to seek out Sangwoo. Soon Sangwoo learns that the designer he was interested in working with is actually Jaeyoung. Sangwoo tries to ignore Jaeyoung's retaliation of childish pranks, but they soon end up getting a little too comfortable with each other's presence.
Okay... So where to start....
The plot seems interesting as a web novel, but it's very elementary when is comes to live action drama. As the audience, we are suddenly dropped into Sangwoo's presentation where he throws lots of people under the bus, but we don't actually get to see him get frustrated, see him get assigned the project, or anything. We just are shown the end result of the project, so we don't have any sense of understanding as to why Sangwoo name dropped these people. Similarly, we don't get to see Jaeyoung be very upset about his plans being cancelled. so we don't understand why he retaliated against Sangwoo. Also, how could Sangwoo and Jaeyoung not know each other if they were supposed to be working on the same group project? I don't understand... And this is the first episode of the drama.
Once you get past the first episode the plot is actually decent. It's a light-hearted and fun story. The real error of this drama is that that producers decided to put the climax in the last episode. Since the episode is only about 30 minutes long, the entire issue of Jaeyoung's acceptance into a French program putting a strain on Sangwoo's response as to whether or not they should date is really rushed. Because of this, I felt that Sangwoo really didn't love Jaeyoung as he claimed. I also felt that Jaeyoung didn't really care for Sangwoo much either, which is very unfortunate.
Sangwoo x Jaeyoung
Sangwoo is awkward, robotic and doesn't believe in people or love. Jaeyoung is popular, outgoing, and always goes with the flow. It's supposed to be an opposites attract type of love, and they both are cute together. However, due to the rushed ending, I'm questioning how long they will last as a couple. As I said earlier, they due to the pacing of the last episode, they don't seem to be as in love with each other as I hoped they would be... Which is a bummer because they are adorable together.
OVERALL:
I had high hopes for this drama, but the last episode really ruined it for me. A nice one time watch, but I can live without watching it again.

MUST WATCH!! GIVE IT A TRY!!
An addicting one!Yep, Addicting despite of the usual School theme enemy to lovers kind of story. I've read the manwha (well still currently reading it since its on going) and I can say that they've change some part but in acceptable way. The two MAIN CAST is the MAIN reason why this BL drama SHINES. They made a right decision to cast Park Seoham as Jaeyoung and Park Jaechan as Sang woo. They're so fit into this role and the chemistry of these two is overflowing. The way Jaeyoung look at Sang woo is mesmerizing. Like wow! The tense on his eyes.
Sangwo's character is annoying at first like a robotic and self centered human being lol but glad after he met Jaeyoung he started to have a character development and I'm loving it. Not knowing anything in life but just based it in books and science. obviously he doesn't have any experience with love or anything but I find it cute coz he is always the one who initiate the kiss. lol specially the first kiss and even in the second one..
Jaeyoung in the other hand is the best for me, his character is playful yet matured.. When you read the Manhwa you'll know that he's not straight that's why he's vocal with his feeling about Sang woo. Ah, I love him. Even their friends specially the girl best friend of Jaeyong is the best! Glad that she's there and the other friend is funny.
KUDOS to the team! Thanks for introducing Park Seoham and Park Jaechan to everyone. They deserve a reward for this coz they both did a great job.
The song is perfect as well and will re-watch it again and again.
So if you haven't watched it yet. Give it a try. Who know's you'll love it the same way I did.
PS: Actors are definitely gorgeous. Seoham and Jaechan's visuals are sooooo gooood! ❤️

actually a banger
I have been seeing ads for this so much that it's not even funny. So I watched it. I did watch a show in between, but I finally finished this one today. It was good. just a cute one that I could watch in the background of homework and whatnot. The actors did really well; I enjoyed their acting; it was really good. The body movements and the facial movements really added to it. No one made me want to shoot them, which is good. Likeable characters, and all the actors were extremely good-looking. so I would recommend this. My average for episodes was a solid 9, so I think this is a good, cute, short one to watch whenever. overhyped but not necessarily bad. I enjoyed it. I will probably watch it again. okay bye.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Highly recommend.
Although this drama is pretty short I must say that quality is very high. Actors are very skilled and crate great chemistry between each other. Music is awsome. All the graphic effects and production is also great. Even actors playing supporting characters are great. It's not a BL filled with spicy scenes but rather soft, funny and smart love story. Story is not very extensive and not that addicting that's why re-watch value is only 8 for me but it is something I highly recommend to watch at least once. In my opinion one of the best korean BL drama.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Adorable

So perfect!
I remember when there was an announcement for this show and nobody really cared.I read the Manhwa and was sosososooo excited for it! I had never read anything that was about to be turned into a show before I read it! So, because of my joy, I came to My Drama List to see how others thought of it also! At that time, there were no actors announced, no pictures, just the summary and the title. There were very few comments, and most of them very happy about it! then, when the actors playing the characters were announced, I came back here to see how people were responding, because I had never heard of the actors before. So much hate was towards them, i was starting to believe that it was a bad choice to make the manhwa into a show. People saying that they didnt look anything like the characters in the Manhwa, but, now that ive watched this show over and over again, I truly couldn't see any other actors for the roles of Sangwoo and Jaeyoung! Seoham and and Jaechan play them so amazingly I was blown away! This is the best BL series act I've ever watched. No character was lacking in personality, and its like everything was taken straight out of the Manhwa. I believe they even moved it along faster and better than the Manhwa. Ive never really been able to rewatched any BL's, (maybe other than any Japanese ones), as its boring, but with this, I can always go back and feel the joy I felt when I first watched it.

Best Korean Bl I've Ever Seen!!!
Ok this was surprisingly addicting! It kept me smiling throughout the whole thing! It didn't give us anything new: enemy to lovers, university campus setting, etc. But it was all executed so well! There are very few bls that have been able to master these tropes without being boring, and this is one of them. I usually watch Thai bls, so this was a refreshing change for me. The camera work was different to Thai bls, it had a more clean, refreshing vibe.Story:
The story was so addicting, even though it had all the tropes we see all the time in bls. One of the characters displayed some borderline autistic traits and I've never seen that in a bl before. It was interesting.
Acting:
The acting was so amazing! The lines flowed out so naturally and the actors really managed to capture their characters emotions so well! There was no awkwardness between the MCs, no awkward placements, or hugs standing 10 inches apart. The acting wasn't stiff and predictable like I commonly see.
Rewatch value:
I would definitely rewatch this! I'm not the type of person who can rewatch something immediately after finishing, but give it a month or two, and I'd definitely come back!
Overall:
I was originally going to give it 9.5 stars, because of the overused tropes, but now I give it a 10. Because I've found very VERY few bls that do not use at least ONE overused trope. For me, it comes down to how well the acting and plot is executed, and how entertained it kept me. 10 stars from me, definitely recommend!

Great show, bad start
I was really close to dropping this show. Watched the first episode a while ago and found everything annoying and weird, and the start of the second episode didn't help either. But then in episode 3, the show turned into a new, interesting direction. I could finally understand what they were going for.
Overall, I enjoyed this show but I wish they were doing everything less "stereotyped" and exaggerated. As someone studying art for games right now and taking coding classes, I found it really annoying. The artist was a "free spirit" while the "nerd" was a computer geek, which they also made very robotic-like. I understand the idea behind it, but I wish they would have tuned it down a bit.
The after-credit scene was to live for. Wish they had a second season to expand that.

this hurts to write bc i wish i liked it more
aspects i enjoyed:- i think jaeyoung is f*cking sexy like MY BAD i want him
- chemistry between characters is good
- acting
- intimacy (somebody throw me off a building)
- JAEYOUNG AND HIS BISEXUAL TRIFECTA FRIEND GROUP
- the maybe two songs that played throughout the entire show
- jaeyoung and sangwoo's back and forthness made me want to keep watching
- relability of the characters; sangwoo is insecure like me and i think he can be funny without meaning to be ("he looks like a total bum" *screenshots jaeyoung's instagram). i felt this way sometimes w jaeyoung too but i mostly enjoyed sangwoo's realness
- episode 7 *jumps into lava*
aspects i did not enjoy
- literally the entire premise of this show at least for the first five eps. are yal seeing this? shy sangwoo was like ur a freeloader nobody likes u im starting an organization against u so u dont graduate and sexy jaeyoung was just like aw ur cute im going to start following u around and buy every single bottle of ur fav drink <3 and then when sangwoo started to hate all of this jaeyoung was just like okay fine since u hate me so bad i'll just distance myself and see how YOU like it. I THINK I WOULD LIKE IT CONSIDERING YOURE SEXY BUT YOU'RE BORDERLINE HAZING ME? idk i'm usually an enemies to lovers enjoyer...
- jumps between episodes sometimes if they didn't pick up immediately where things were left off
- as i mentioned for the 8 show, i think there were definitely issues w adapting this from a webtoon which is inevitable
- jihye like i'm sorry girl but what was that confession scene why would you do that at all or idk that couldve been executed better
- it's just confusing bc sometimes sangwoo could be so cruel (if someone told me to "control my urges" after kissing me????) and jaeyoung can be just irrational so idk like i said in ep7-8 they had really great chemistry and i think it's very cute that they worked on things together but it overall made the watching experience not as great when their relationship wasn't as linear as i thought it'd be
- kind of typical kdrama narratives but i don't think i have enough knowledge of bl to rank this in that universe
i won't be recommending this to people but if you don't take it as seriously as i did maybe it'd be more fun to watch

fun watch!
I really enjoyed this drama. The story was well paced, and the episodes not too long, it felt like a long movie. There wasn't a moment when i thought 'ugh they're stretching this soo bad, this doesn't have any value to the story' , no.
There was (physical) tension at the right moments and just long enough too make you go 'ooooooh', but not cringe.
And obviously the chemistry between the two leads, it was so believable, from the bickering, to the gazes, all the way down to the kissezzz
Now all there's left to do is hope for a season two? ;-)
